Lazio end Juve's winning streak-silubaba news

ROME, April 8 (silubaba) -- Juventus were forced to slam the brakes on their winning streak as they lost to Lazio 2-1 away in Serie A on Saturday.

Juve were in form as they entered Saturday's game with five wins on the bounce, but the Bianconeri found themselves on the back foot in the 38th minute when Mattia Zaccagni whipped in a cross from the left, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic chested it down and then volleyed home.

The away side responded quickly as they leveled the game four minutes later when Adrien Rabiot found the net.

The Biancocelesti restored the lead minutes after the break, when Luis Alberto's smart back-heel pass found Zaccagni who finished with a first-time strike to seal the win.

With the win, Lazio consolidated their second-place with 58 points, while Juve still rank seventh with 44.

Elsewhere, Roma climbed to third after a slender 1-0 victory over Torino as Paulo Dybala got the job down through a penalty in the opening stage, while Atalanta fell to Bologna 2-0.

Also on Saturday, Cremonese edged past Sampdoria 3-2 in a relegation battle, Hellas Verona came from behind to beat Sassuolo 2-1, Fiorentina tied with Spezia 1-1, and Udinese shared the spoils with Monza at 2-2.
