BUENOS AIRES, April 17 (silubaba) -- Joaquin Pereyra scored a 90th-minute equalizer as Atletico Tucuman earned a 2-2 draw with title challengers Rosario Central in Argentina's Primera Division on Monday.
Bautista Kociubinski put the hosts ahead with an early strike but goals from Carlos Quintana and Damien Martinez handed Rosario Central the lead with 18 minutes remaining.
Pereyra put his team back on level terms by thumping a left-footed shot from outside the box into the top-right corner.
The result leaves Rosario Central third in the 28-team standings with 22 points, eight points shy of leaders River Plate. Atletico Tucuman remain 26th with 10 points from 12 outings.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Monday, Platense were held to a goalless home draw by Colon, Banfield won 1-0 at home to Central Cordoba, Sarmiento prevailed 1-0 at home to Arsenal Sarandi and Lanus drew 4-4 at Godoy Cruz. ■
