Saelemaekers’ late equalizer saves AC Milan in Serie A-silubaba news

ROME, April 29 (silubaba) -- Alexis Saelemaekers' late equalizer helped AC Milan snatch one point at Stadio Olimpico as the Rossoneri shared the spoils with Roma at 1-1 in a highly-anticipated Serie A game on Saturday.

It was a head-to-head for the fourth place as AC Milan and Roma were locked together on 56 points before Saturday's game.

In a fairly tedious game, both sides failed to create genuine chances but it reached its climax in the closing stages when the home side broke the deadlock in the 94th minute when Tammy Abraham gathered from Zeki Celik to finish with a low strike.

As the Giallorossi thought they had wrapped up the victory, Saelemaekers came to Milan's rescue in the dying minutes, as Rafael Leao whipped in a cross for the Belgian to tap in at the back post.

Also on Saturday, Duvan Zapata's last-gasp winner surged Atalanta to win Torino 2-1 away.
