BEIJING, May 15 (silubaba) -- Beijing Guoan edged Nantong Zhiyun 1-0 on Monday to taste its first home victory in the 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) season.
The winner came in the 23rd minute when midfielder Arijan Ademi blasted a shot into the far corner. After this, both sides created few chances.
With the result, Beijing Guoan sits seventh on the CSL table with 10 points, while Nantong stays third from bottom.
Beijing Guoan will visit Shanghai Shenhua on Friday, while Nantong Zhiyun will face Shenzhen on the same day. ■
