In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and to uphold China's sportsmanship, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) has donated five granite sculptures of Square-Headed Snow Kids. These sculptures can be found in the following five locations: the Chongli Fulong Ski Resort, Taiwu Ski Resort, Wanlong Ski Resort, and Yunding Ski Resort in the Zhangjiakou competition zone, as well as Yabuli town, known as home to many ski resorts.

The five sculptures symbolize not only the Olympic motto of "Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together" but also herald a new era in China's winter sports. Furthermore, they represent the legacy of the Beijing Olympic Winter Games.

This project was made possible by a donation of 3 million yuan from Wang Zimu, founder of Huatai Insurance Group, and designed by the internationally renowned sculptor Liu Yang. Liu Yang is also the author of the public sculpture Snow Children for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
