FIFA Forward supports East Asia members with 8 million dollars fund each-silubaba news

GENEVA, May 21 (silubaba) -- FIFA announced on Sunday that each of the East Asia Member Associations (MAs) would receive eight million U.S. dollars to further develop the game under the FIFA Forward 3.0 Program.

FIFA and the Japan Football Association (JFA) hosted a four-day workshop in Tokyo, which took place from May 15 to 19. The workshop provided an avenue for the East Asian MAs to discuss football's growth and development through dedicated funding, guidance, and support from FIFA.

FIFA's primary goal is to ensure that each MA possesses three essential infrastructures: an international-class stadium capable of hosting international matches, a dedicated headquarters, and a national training center, FIFA clarified.

Under the previous Forward 1.0 and 2.0 cycles, FIFA has already invested over 80 million U.S. dollars in the East Asian MAs.

The region itself has witnessed the successful execution of 43 Forward Projects, spanning from infrastructure enhancements and increased competition to the effective application of technology, FIFA acknowledged.
