Thai and Chinese officials joined a welcoming ceremony at Bangkok airport on Monday to greet passengers from Spring Airlines flights from Guangzhou.
The arrival of this Chinese tour group is dubbed by many locals as the "first across the globe" after China resumed outbound group travel to 20 countries including Thailand, starting on Feb 6, 2023.
