BUENOS AIRES, June 10 (silubaba) -- Dario Benedetto struck late to earn Boca Juniors a 1-1 home draw with Lanus in Argentina's Primera Division on Saturday.
Leandro Diaz gave the visitors the lead just before halftime at La Bombonera with a precise header after Sanchez Mino's cross.
Benedetto put the hosts on level terms in the 88th minute when he combined with Guillermo Fernandez before firing a close-range shot into the bottom-left corner.
The result leaves Boca 10th in the 28-team standings with 28 points from 20 games while Lanus are sixth, five points ahead of their Buenos Aires rivals.
In other Argentine Primera Division fixtures on Saturday, Platenese won 1-0 at home to Tigre, Talleres Cordoba registered a 1-0 home victory over Arsenal Sarandi. ■
