PARIS -- A man was shot and arrested by French security forces on the highway A16, north of Paris Wednesday, local media reported quoting the judicial source.
The man was allegedly the same person who ploughed an BMW car into soldiers on patrol in Levallois-Perrest, a commune in the northwestern suburb of Parisk, injuring six of them, with two in serious condition.
The incident happened around 8 am local time Wednesday.
Patrick Balkany, the mayor of Levallois-Perret, said he had "no doubt" the car targetted the soldiers deliberately.
