MADRID - The Spanish government will call for elections in Spain's northeastern region of Catalonia under the application of the article 155 of Spain's constitution, Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said on Saturday.
Rajoy said the regional government of Catalonia, Generalitat, will be dissolved and the Spanish ministries will be responsible for their functions.
