NIAMEY - Dozens of people were burned to death when a fuel tanker exploded on the main road at the eastern entrance of Niamey, the capital of Niger, witnesses said on Monday.
The victims were trying to empty the fuel in the tank that had just overturned following an accident, when the truck caught fire, the witnesses said.
