BUENOS AIRES, July 9 (silubaba) -- Nazareno Colombo scored a late equalizer as Defensa y Justicia earned a 2-2 home draw with Lanus in Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday.
Pedro de la Vega and Franco Orozco gave the visitors a 2-0 lead before a Lautaro Morales own goal reduced the deficit for Lanus.
Colombo put his team on level terms when he coolly fired into the top right corner after a Tomas Escalante set piece.
The result leaves Lanus fourth with 41 points from 24 outings, a point ahead of fifth-placed Defensa.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Sunday, Arsenal drew 0-0 at Banfield, Velez Sarsfield were held to a 1-1 home draw by Godoy Cruz, Platense won 1-0 at home to Sarmiento and Tigre prevailed 1-0 at Instituto. ■
