Guest Opinion: Building a new world order where shared benefits prevail-silubaba news

For decades, China has been busy implementing mighty plans to strengthen the bonds of Chinese society, stimulate sustainable development, strengthen the economy and self-sufficiency, provide medical care and literacy, and eliminate the scourge of poverty for its 1.4 billion people.

China has worked tirelessly, and has achieved great success through its pioneering experience of strengthening its capabilities, leading to the building of a cohesive society committed to the development of the Chinese nation.

Thanks to the wisdom of its leadership, China has over the past decades set its sights and priorities on strengthening the capabilities of the society and the nation despite many obstacles, achieving the highest growth rate in the world after a short period of time.

Today's China is entirely different from what it was in the past, as it not only is the primary market for many countries' exports, but also owns a strong military, which enables it to prevent outsiders from interfering in its affairs.

China has sent important political and economic messages to the world, showing the renaissance of the Chinese nation.

Undoubtedly, the economy plays a pivotal role in China's policies, and the pursuit of its leadership to build a strong economy has no limits. It's worth noting that there are many studies and researches predicting that the Chinese economy will surpass its American counterpart within 10 years.

While the United States is demanding its Western allies diversify their economies and reduce their dependence on China, more countries are seeking to join the BRICS group and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The United States is constantly trying to contain China's economic and political renaissance, but China's success in joining others to form the "BRICS+" will make it difficult for Washington to contain China or to prevent it from proceeding toward establishing a multipolar world.

The growing requests to join the BRICS group and the SCO exceeded expectations. All this is due to those countries' absolute confidence in China, and because of China's intention to promote international political and economic cooperation that is beneficial to all, and to play the role of a qualified observer in implementing the decisions of the UN Security Council.

Countries that worry about the Chinese renaissance are those which have become accustomed to plundering and robbing the wealth and rights of the peoples of the Third World countries for centuries, especially America. The United States is a country that has risen on the shoulders of colonialism and domination of most energy sources in the world. It also contributed to the overthrow of governments opposed to it and confiscated those countries' wealth and monopolized their natural resources.

It is one of the countries seeking to renew the unilateral colonial system in one way or another to prevent the establishment of a new world order based on social justice and mutual development. In contrast, China has no record of overthrowing governments of other countries, and is innocent of any colonialism as China has never plundered the wealth of any country in the world. Instead, China has been working on a win-win basis with an aim to achieve mutual benefits with other countries.

We acknowledge that Renaissance had inspired many countries, which tried to benefit and learn from it. However, it was proven to the world that the Western Renaissance stemmed from colonial, imperialist, and racist legacies, and later turned into invasions, penalties, and discriminatory measures against many nations, including some Arab nations.

On the contrary, China succeeded in resolving the biggest dilemma between two neighboring countries in our region and brokered the agreement for the restoration of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which was described as historic.

On the Ukraine crisis, China presented a good-faith initiative, calling on relevant parties to respect international conventions and the sovereignty of the two countries.

China also firmly supports the Arab Peace Initiative, and the establishment of an independent State of Palestine that enjoys full sovereignty with East Jerusalem as its capital.

It is evident that the Chinese nation is coming with the strength to build a new world where security, peace, prosperity, development, and shared benefit prevail, and this is what we aspire to.
