BEIJING, July 22 (silubaba) -- Felipe netted a hat-trick, propelling Chengdu Rongcheng to triumph over Dalian Pro at home during the 18th round of the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
Streli Mamba's header in the ninth minute briefly put Dalian in the lead, but a low shot from Felipe inside the box leveled the score four minutes later.
Felipe showcased his top form in the 19th minute, receiving a pass from Manuel Palacios and sending an outstanding bicycle kick into the corner of the net.
Chengdu striker Kim Min-woo was equally on fire. The South Korean forward hit the crossbar with a long-range shot in the first half and assisted Feng Zhuoyi to extend the lead to 3-1 in the 49th minute.
Felipe rounded off his hat-trick in the 67th minute, the Brazilian forward repeating his first goal of the match to solidify Chengdu's victory.
Following the win, Chengdu remains third in the standings with 33 points, trailing Shanghai Shenhua, in second place with 35 points, who drew 1-1 with Changchun Yatai on Saturday.
In other matches, Beijing Guoan cruised to a 2-0 victory over Qingdao Hainiu, while Zhejiang FC defeated Shandong Taishan 2-1. ■
