Botafogo continue march to title in Brazilian Serie A-silubaba news

RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 12 (silubaba) -- Botafogo came from behind to cruise to a 3-1 home win over Internacional in Brazil's Serie A championship on Saturday.

Mauricio Prado gave the visitors the lead in the 18th minute before a Victor Sa strike and a Nicolas Hernandez own goal put the Glorioso ahead just before the hour.

Luiz Henrique completed the rout with a powerful finish after Carlos Eduardo's pass on the counterattack.

The result means Botafogo now have 15 wins from their first 19 games of the season and they have a 16-point lead over second-placed Flamengo.

Botafogo are bidding to win their third Brazilian Serie A title and their first since 1995.
