MEXICO CITY, Sept. 4 (silubaba) -- Pedro Raul scored two second-half goals to help Toluca crush Pachuca 5-0 at home in Mexico's Liga MX on Sunday.
Tiago Volpi put the hosts ahead with an early penalty and Maxi Araujo doubled the lead with a precise header just before the half-hour mark.
Juan Dominguez bundled home his team's third goal from close range before Raul made it 4-0 with an angled finish after combining with Jesus Angulo on the counterattack.
Dominguez then turned provider as he set up Raul to fire home from 12 yards just after the hour.
Toluca defended solidly thereafter as they secured their third win of the campaign to rise to fifth in the standings, four points behind leaders San Luis. Pachuca are 15th with just one win so far.
