He also said the signing of several memorandum of understandings of Saudi Arabia with the Hong Kong SAR and the Chinese mainland businesses reached new levels, allowing companies to prosper. The Consul General also invited the attendees of the event to use Saudi Arabia as "a platform to reach other regions".
The event was organized by the Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region, hosted by Consul General Hamad Aljebreen.

During his address, Deputy Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Horace Cheung Kwok-kwan congratulated Saudi Arabia on its 93rd national day and acknowledged that the Arab nation was the second-largest trading partner of Hong Kong in the Gulf region in 2022.
