LANZHOU, Oct. 25 (silubaba) -- Two people were killed and two others injured after the cement slope protection of an electricity tower collapsed on Wednesday in northwest China's Gansu Province.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m. in the Maiji district of Tianshui City, burying four people.
Rescue workers were dispatched to the site shortly after the accident, and the injured are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
An investigation is underway. ■
