SHENYANG, China, Oct. 25 (silubaba) -- China's 15th National Winter Games will be held in the northeast province of Liaoning in 2028, according to a circular released by the General Office of the State Council on Wednesday.
The funding for the preparation and staging of the Games will mainly rest with the Liaoning provincial government, while the central government will offer one-time fixed subsidy, said the circular.
China's General Administration of Sport and the Liaoning provincial government have pledged to hold the games in "streamlined, safe and splendid" manner. ■
