GUANGZHOU, Nov. 5 (silubaba) -- One person was killed and another nine injured after a car crashed into multiple motorcycles and cars on Sunday in south China's Guangdong Province, according to local authorities.
The accident happened at around 7:52 p.m. in the city of Jieyang. All the injured have been sent to hospital for treatment and are not in critical conditions, according to the city's public security bureau.
The police have held the driver involved in the accident and ruled out drunk or drug driving in the preliminary investigation.
Further investigations are underway. ■
