BEIJING, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- A 4.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Pingchuan District of Baiyin City in northwest China's Gansu Province, at 10:27 p.m. Sunday (Beijing Time), according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 36.74 degrees north latitude and 105.0 degrees east longitude, the CENC said. ■
