BEIJING, Jan. 10 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with President of the Republic of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu in Beijing on Wednesday.
The two heads of state announced the elevation of bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
