ZHENGZHOU, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- China's Henan Province posted a foreign trade volume of 810.79 billion yuan (about 113.93 billion U.S. dollars) in 2023, local customs said on Friday.
Of the total, its exports reached 528 billion yuan, marking an increase of 2.4 percent year on year, while imports stood at 282.79 billion yuan during the period.
In 2023, the province's top four trading partners were the United States, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the European Union, and Republic of Korea (ROK).
The province's trade with Belt and Road partner countries reached 356.76 billion yuan during the same period, an increase of 2.7 percent year on year, accounting for 44 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume.
Its trade with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) countries totalled 245.47 billion yuan, an increase of 10.7 percent compared to 2021. The RCEP entered into force on Jan. 1, 2022. ■
