DOHA, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's Yang Hao and Lian Junjie clinched their third consecutive World Aquatics Championships title in the men's 10m synchronized diving event here on Thursday.
The duo asserted their dominance early on and secured the gold medal with a total score of 470.76 points.
The final culminated when Yang and Lian perfectly executed their last 109C dive - a forward 4½ with a difficulty coefficient of 3.7 - to earn a remarkable score of 104.34 points, the highest single dive score of the entire final.
Tom Daley and Noah Williams of Britain claimed the silver medal with a total score of 422.37 points, while Ukraine's teenagers Oleksii Sereda and Kirill Boliukh, runners-up from the 2023 Fukuoka World Championships, secured the bronze medal with 406.47 points. ■
