KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 (Xinhua) -- China will take on Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Maldives and Uzbekistan in Group A as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers draw was revealed on Tuesday.
The 44 participating teams have been drawn into 10 groups for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup which will be held in Uzbekistan in 2023, the Asian football governing body said in a statement following the draw.
The qualifying tournament will be held between Sept. 10-18. The 10 group winners and the five best runners-up will join hosts Uzbekistan in the 2023 finals.
