Gansu's Zhangye Danxia Geopark kicked off its 4th hot air balloon festival on July 30. The festival at the colorful Danxia Scenic Spot included six airshows, where 36 hot air balloons, piloted by professionals from across China, took flight.
Alongside the ballooning, visitors were drawn in by a music festival and a themed photography contest that showcased Zhangye's rich culture.
