Thai prime minister removed from office

Thailand's Constitutional Court dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin from his post after less than a year in office on Wednesday afternoon. Srettha is accused by a group of former senators seeking his removal from office of breaching ethics rules by appointing a lawyer with a criminal conviction to his cabinet.
