Hong Kong Ballet's award-winning production The Butterfly Lovers will make its debut performance in New York from Aug 22 to 24. Often referred to as the "Chinese Romeo and Juliet", this thousand-year-old folklore is being reimagined as ballet. Since its world premiere in Hong Kong last October, the production has won six Hong Kong Dance Awards.
