Pakistan to host Sri Lanka for ODI cricket series in November

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in November, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday.

The series will take place in Rawalpindi, a city neighboring the capital Islamabad, from November 11 to 15.

Sri Lanka last played an ODI series in Pakistan in 2019, when the hosts won 2-0, the PCB noted.

The board also confirmed on Sunday that Pakistan will stage its first-ever T20 International tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and Afghanistan from November 17 to 29, with matches scheduled in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Both series come during a packed home season for Pakistan, which begins with two ICC World Test Championship matches and six white-ball games against South Africa from October 12 to November 8.
