ACCRA, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- The women's national team of Ghana, the Black Queens, will face England in a friendly match on Dec. 2, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced on Friday.
According to the GFA, an agreement had been reached between the two federations for the football friendly.
The match comes off as part of Ghana's preparations for all international assignments, including the 2026 African Women's Cup of Nations.
"The fixture against England, one of the world's top-ranked sides and reigning European champions, is expected to provide the Queens with a tough test that will sharpen the squad," said the GFA. ■
