American economist: I’m really asking for China to open a huge campus of the UN

"I'm really asking for China to open a huge campus of the UN. It can be Beijing or Shanghai, but a huge campus because China is the only country in the world that can guide the path to zero-carbon energy, to sustainable solutions for energy and for climate," said Jeffrey Sachs, Columbia University professor, at the "Vision China" event themed "Standing United: Inheriting the UN Legacy, Advancing Global Governance" at the UN headquarters in New York on Sept 15. Sachs added that no other country has the capacity for this.
