MADRID, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Antoine Griezmann scored his 200th goal for Atletico Madrid as the club's strong run continued on Tuesday with a 5-1 home win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.
The victory followed Atletico's 5-2 triumph over city rivals Real Madrid on Saturday, and Diego Simeone's side made another fast start.
Giacomo Raspadori, starting in place of Alexander Sorloth, pounced on a loose ball in the six-yard box to score just three minutes into the match, his first goal for the club.
Robin le Normand doubled the lead in the 32nd minute, turning in a corner flicked on by Griezmann. The French forward struck again in first-half stoppage time, finishing from close range after Julian Alvarez broke through and squared a pass from Pablo Barrios' through ball.
Eintracht reduced the deficit in the 57th minute through Jonathan Burkardt, who finished from near the penalty spot. But Giuliano Simeone restored the three-goal cushion with a sharp finish from another corner.
Ten minutes from time, Alvarez was fouled in the box and converted the penalty himself, capping an excellent performance with Atletico's fifth.
Earlier Tuesday, Kylian Mbappe scored a hat trick as Real Madrid cruised to a 5-0 win away to Kazakhstan's Kairat. Eduardo Camavinga and Brahim Diaz added the other goals. ■
