CARACAS, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Real Sociedad defender Jon Aramburu and Fiorentina defender Luis Balbo were among 32 players named in Venezuela's preliminary squad for friendlies against Argentina and Belize, the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) said on Tuesday.
Interim manager Oswaldo Vizcarrondo also included Inter Miami midfielder Telasco Segovia, Sao Paulo defender Nahuel Ferraresi and Toulouse midfielder Cristian Casseres Jr for the matches in the United States next month.
Venezuela will play Argentina in Miami on October 10 and Belize in Chicago four days later.
The FVF said 10 players were unavailable due to visa issues. Among those missing from the squad were the Vinotinto's all-time leading scorer Salomon Rondon, playmaker Yeferson Soteldo and midfielder Jose Martinez.
Real Sociedad midfielder Yangel Herrera is also absent due to a hamstring injury. ■
