CHENGDU, Nov. 4 (silubaba) -- The mascot and logo have been unveiled for the inaugural International Table Tennis Federation Mixed Team World Cup in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The event logo features a table tennis racket adorned with Jinsha sunbird, a motif representing China's rich cultural heritage, alongside a depiction of Chengdu's historic Wuhou Shrine.
"Ping Ping," the official mascot of the competition, is inspired by the giant panda, an iconic symbol of Sichuan.
The ITTF Mixed Team World Cup will be held from December 4 to 10 at the Sichuan Gymnasium, the arena that witnessed the last ITTF Men's and Women's World Cups in 2019.
The competition will feature a combination of men's and women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events. ■
