CHATEAUROUX, France, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Yang Ji-in of South Korea grabbed a gold medal in women's 25m pistol at the Olympics here on Saturday, which is the third shooting gold for the country in Paris so far.
The 21-year-old World Cup winner had stable performance in the final, making 37 hits before entering a shoot-off with French shooter Camille Jedrzejewski, where she managed to hold her nerve till the end.
The bronze medal was snatched by Veronika Major from Hungary.
China's Zhao Nan finished fifth.
"I think I am satisfied with the entire process, and I have no regrets or remorse about the ranking. Throughout the process, I discovered many of my own shining points, and I will summarize and prepare for the next time. I feel that the Olympics have been very rewarding for me, and I am very happy and pleased with how this Olympics concluded," said Zhao. ■
