BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- A total of 253 million Chinese people are covered by maternity insurance as of June, with cumulative fund expenditures reaching 438.3 billion yuan (around 61.4 billion U.S. dollars), according to the National Healthcare Security Administration on Thursday. ■
